Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York in the U.S.A. was an American actor who has a reputation for playing tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney came from the theatre-loving side of her family. Her father named Romulus Linney was a renowned writer. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and then graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City. The actress immediately started performing on Broadway eventually earning praise for her performances in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
